Subsurface of Alföld (great plain) in the depth of 1000-2000 m contains spring water resources that supply enormous geothermic energy. This giant tank has remarkable heat generating power. Spring waters and thermal spas are extremely rich in mineral substances due to ancient volcanic activities. Coexistence of these natural phenomena nourishes thermal waters and makes Hungarian spas famous:

(74-75 C) The neo-baroque building that is found in the City Park was completed in 1913, while the swimming pools in 1927. Rudas Bath : The central octagonal pool and four minor ones of different temperature are used in the original condition in the spa that was built in 1550, later in 1566 rebuilt by Sokolou Moustafa pasha.
